Even in the heartbreaking situation of a baby being stillborn, or if the baby only survives outside the pregnant mother’s body for such a short amount of time that there can’t be a traditional eulogy, for me to do the work I do so well as a Celebrant, there is still a full interview process to complete with the family members who are feeling the enormity of this loss. I interview the parents of the baby, as well as any older siblings to this baby of they are old enough to be included in the process, and indeed whoever you wish I speak with.

I write a detailed ceremony script capturing all the hopes and dreams for this baby, the specific story of this pregnancy journey, and memories from the limited time you did have with this baby, including in-utero. I’ll also design a fitting personalized ritual if desired, and help provide options for the most fitting readings as well as fitting music to play at the event. I spend so much time, care, and attention to write the ceremony script that this delicate situation warrants and deserves, including a poetic or philosophical theme woven throughout, which should help frame how to think of this unthinkable event for some of the attendees who wish to support the family through this tragedy.

My Fully Personalized Celebration of Life package still applies in this case. Payment plans are available upon request, and only $416 is due upfront.
